Kasuri (絣) is the Japanese term for fabric that has been woven with fibers dyed specifically to create patterns and images in the fabric. This print is an interpretation of ikkat stripes eccentrically placed in vibrant colors. The pattern is inspired from the archival patola fabrics of Gujarat. The fabric is cotton with sea shell buttons used on the front placket and a cuban neckline.
